Built for knowledge

A structured editor your team enjoys using. Blocks, media, diagrams, embeds.

Write articles in a clean, block-based editor designed for knowledge, not a word processor bolted onto a wiki. Add tables, callouts, images and embeds without fighting the formatting.

AI-assisted

Draft, rewrite and summarise inline. From blank page to polished.

Generate a first draft from a prompt, tighten a paragraph, or summarise a long document, right inside the editor your team already uses. The AI works from your knowledge, so drafts start in context.

Multilingual

Translate on the fly, always in sync. Every reader, in their own language.

Readers open any article in their own language, translated on the fly. Because each translation is generated live from the current source, it's always up to date, with no saved copies drifting out of sync as the original evolves.

Diagrams

Draw diagrams without leaving the article. Sketch by hand, or build from Mermaid.

Draw a diagram or sketch straight into an article, or paste a Mermaid flowchart and let Elium turn it into shapes you can edit. Every drawing is stored in Elium with the article, so nothing leaves your platform.

FAQ

Common questions about the editor

It’s a structured, block-based editor. You build articles from rich blocks of text, media and embeds, so content stays consistent and easy to maintain. A drawing block lets you build diagrams and sketches inside the article, or generate them from Mermaid text, and they are stored in Elium rather than in a third-party tool. Paste a link to a Google document and it appears as a live preview. A built-in AI assistant works on any text you highlight to expand it, improve the writing, fix spelling and grammar, or summarise it as a shorter version, a table or a list.
Unlike a document file, every article is structured, governed and searchable inside your knowledge base, and the same article can be served to each reader in their own language. Drafting and rewriting happen inline, so you go from blank page to polished without leaving Elium.
Yes. You can translate a passage inline or auto-translate a whole article, and readers are offered content in their preferred language. Machine translation is powered by DeepL, a European provider hosted in Germany.
Every AI suggestion is proposed for you to accept, edit or discard. You stay in control of what gets published. Translation can also be switched off entirely in your security settings if you’d rather not involve a third party.
No. The block editor is built to be approachable for anyone, and the AI assistant helps expand, rewrite, correct and summarise as they go, so non-writers still produce polished, consistent articles.
